Videos, Gallery, Discography - 11 Comments

Sorry about the slack in updating guys. There hasn’t been much going on in the past few days. That’s generally when I decide to scour the site to see if there’s anything I can upgrade. I decided that I’m going to snazz up the discography a little more. I’ll be adding separate pages for each album/ep with more information as to who produced/mixed/etc. It’s kind of bare in that respect.

In other news, I have a request for everyone who visits. Lacey invited me to interview her for the site when I last saw her and I have a few things in mind, but I think it’d be cool if you guys tossed in your ideas too. If there’s been something you’ve wondered about the band or music, fill out the form on the contact page or comment with the question(s) and I’ll include them.

In the media section, two more videos from the Bethel Youth Center have been added. I believe there are two more waiting to be encoded and uploaded, but that might take a little bit since Caleb has to catch up on a bunch of school work. A new drawing of Pat was added to the fanart page thanks to Ralin.

The gallery was updated with a bunch of photos. First, a small collection of photoshoot pictures thanks to Stewart Isbell. There are specific rules in regards to using those photos, so please respect his wishes. One candid was added as well as a few more behind the scenes shots of the band and Richard Patrick of Army of Anyone. A few from the Criminal Records in-store were put up in addition to some miscellaneous live photos.

Lastly, a set of really nice pictures were taken of the band for Incendio Nation. They’re a really awesome clothing line that everyone should check out. Their MySpace is here and their official site is here. They have Flyleaf featured as their band of the month.

More News and Pictures - 4 Comments

Flyleaf and Richard Patrick of Army of Anyone (Filter) collaborated on the U2 song “Pride (In the Name of Love)” for the Family Values Tour in Holmdel, New Jersey. According to the band’s MySpace, the song has been recorded for the Family Values Tour album due to come out in early December 2006.

Aside from that, the tour dates have been updated with another Stone Sour date and a few pictures have been added to the gallery. Click the thumbnails to go to the respective albums.

Tour news, discography, pictures and video - 5 Comments

I’m back and bearing news. :] The Disturbed tour has been confirmed. It should be starting around November 14th and ending around December 20th. Not sure of dates yet, but I’ll put them up when I find them.

Good news for German fans — the band will be doing a few dates in Germany supporting Stone Sour at the end of October. I added the dates up on the tour page. I’m not sure if I got the venues correct, because the official German Flyleaf site and the ticket site differed slightly. Any people familiar with German venues, feel free to shoot me an email if I messed something up.

The discography was updated with a new EP. Flyleaf covered U2’s ‘Stay’ live for Sirius Octane, and a new studio recording has surfaced on the Target Red Room EP. It’s available at, you guessed it, Target. It’s got about 17 songs from different artists, but it’s only 6 bucks or so. So I encourage everyone to go pick it up. The cover came out great. Aside from that and tour dates, the chart history page was updated. Fully Alive has moved up to #30 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart.

In the media section, All Around Me from Bethel was added in the video section. There are a couple more from that show, but the encoding is being troublesome according to Caleb, so hold tight for now. They’ll be up soon, hopefully.

The gallery was updated with:

– 07 from Buzznet
– 75 from SPAC
– 18 from New England Dodge

Hey guys - 4 Comments

I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m not going to be updating for the next couple days. Caleb and I are going to see a few Flyleaf shows, so I’ll be away from the computer for the most part.

Before I leave, I’m going to link a couple more Bethel videos to keep you entertained.

Also, in the gallery, I uploaded a few things: Lacey’s Revolver scan, more behind the scenes stuff taken by the band, and a few more from their Buzznet account.

Bethel Live Videos - 9 Comments

Four videos from the Bethel Youth Center have been added. Links to download them are below:

Red Sam26.9 MBS // 9.70 MBS
Breathe Today25.1 MBS // 9.05 MBS
Perfect19.5 MBS // 7.09 MBS
Broken Wings26.6 MBS // 9.57 MBS

In other news, Flyleaf is “strongly” rumored to be an opening act for Disturbed’s Music As A Weapon III tour which starts off in November. An official announcement about the tour will be announced soon on Disturbed’s fan club site. Thanks to Sheila8703 on EvBoard for that information.

For those of you interested in purchasing a physical I’m So Sick single, you can do so here. I also added it to the discography.

Some photos from Stadtpark in Hamburg Germany were added. Those were taken by Torsten Volkmer. The gallery hit 4000 pictures with that set, which was a small ‘yay’ moment for the site. is back! Weeeee! - 10 Comments

After some issues, Flyleaf Fans has returned. The latest backup of the site that was able to be restored was July 27th. So, if you registered on the board after that, unfortunately your account was lost. Aside from that, everything should be smooth sailing from now on because the site is on a new server.

As far as actual site updates — not much going on as of late. I added a few things to the gallery, which I’ll just list seeing as there’s not much else.

The Loft – Thanks to Mallory.
The Edge Magazine Scans
Headliners – Thanks to Kate.
Hawthorne Theatre – Thanks to Ginny.

Within the next day or so, I’ll be putting up some live video from Bethel Youth Center thanks to Josh and Caleb. I think the Bethel set will hold the first live video of Broken Wings this site has seen. It’s different from the demos we’ve all heard, so look out for that.

If anybody has requests/suggestions — hit me up. I’m at a loss for new ideas.

Sooooo - 74 Comments

I got bored and decided to switch around the layout a little. The gallery layout has a new header too. It’ll probably stay like this for a while, but heck, you never know with me.

I’m not entirely sure what’s going on with Flyleaf Fans. A few people have asked through email, so I figured I should address it here. It seems to be a server issue since several other sites on the server are timing out. I’m not sure when it’ll be back up. Hopefully soon.

First bit of news — Flyleaf is releasing their debut album with Tina added to the tracklisting. It’ll also be enhanced with the Breathe Today video and the I’m So Sick video. When it becomes available, you can purchase it here at I’m not sure if that version will be available in stores or just as an import, but either way it’s pretty nice to have Tina on a CD.

The band section was updated with a couple new articles. One of them is called Texas Hard Rockers With A Taste For Literature and the other is an interview Sameer did with Sony Australia. Chart history was tweaked a little with a new albums sold count. Fully Alive has moved up another slot to #20 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

I also updated the merch link since the official store has moved. In addition to new shirts, the prices have been raised to 30-35 dollars per t-shirt plus shipping [which is kind of outrageous]. I wonder if the shirts will be that expensive at shows. Anybody been to any Family Values dates that can vouch for the price of the shirts there?

In the media section, some new icons were added thanks to Anja. A handful of videos were added as well. The rest of the Juanita’s show and an interview from Rock Circus were added.

20 shots from Coors Amphitheater were put up. Those were taken by Scott Smith. A few more from Flyleaf’s Buzznet account were also added.

Photoshoot outtakes, icons, videos and moreeee - 14 Comments

Hey everyone. Thanks for all the comments on the layout. It’s cool that nobody hates it. Or maybe people do and just didn’t comment. Either way! Thank you. :]

In the band section, I updated the chart history once again. Fully Alive has moved up to #21 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart and they’ve sold 322,400 albums in total. Also, they’re currently #67 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, so congratulations to Flyleaf.

The media section was updated with a bunch of new icons thanks to Brittani. One new signature was also put up thanks to Demonspitfir. On the video page, four new videos from Juanita’s were added thanks to Caleb, as well as the MTV2 All That Rock’s performance of I’m So Sick thanks to Joey. The video section now has over 120 videos, which is pretty neat.

The gallery was updated with:

– 43 Buzznet Candids – Thanks to Flyleaf’s Buzznet account.
– 13 Outtakes from the James Minchin photoshoot.
– 14 Smirnoff Music Centre shots – Thanks to Greg Smith.
– 29 The Door photos from 2002 – Thanks to Greg Smith.

Also, on Flyleaf Fans, I made 6 new headers and put them into rotation. If you guys haven’t registered at that forum, you should check it out. There’s about 2,100 members.

New Layout weeee! - 25 Comments

Flyleaf Online has been officially made over. It took a bit of self control to keep it light, since I normally can’t help making graphics dark. Sorry in advance if you liked the other one better. I needed something new to look at. You might have to refresh or clear your cache to see it all properly. I’ll probably redo the gallery layout sometime soon, and perhaps the fanlisting one as well. We’ll see.

As far as updates, there aren’t many since I was busy with the layout. I’ll probably edit this post later on tonight with more if I can find something to add.

In the media section, I added a few new promotional tools. I also added a text area under each banner so you can just copy and paste the code on your MySpace or wherever you want. On the video page, I added four live videos from Juanita’s. Red Sam was left out because of the abounding technical difficulties with the sound in case anyone was wondering why it wasn’t there.

In the gallery, I added a bunch more photos to the Bob Carmichael album. Those pictures are pretty old, but nice. Several from last nights show in San Antonio were added here thanks to Ali. About 15 shots from the Pensacola Civic Center were put up here thanks to John at

I hope everyone enjoys the new layout. :]

New photoshoot pictures, chart history, contest - 4 Comments

I got an overwhelming response in regards to the last update in the past few days which was unexpected, but very appreciated nonetheless. Thanks to everyone who commented and emailed. It means a lot.

A new Flyleaf contest has surfaced on Everyone can check out the details and join that here. You get to fly to Boston, take pictures and meet the band if you win.

In the band section, the tour dates and chart history were updated.

The media section got about 7 new videos. The last 5 from The Complex were added, and the 2 videos from MTV2 All that Rocks were as well. Thanks to Caleb for those. I’m sure most of you will notice that MTV dubbed the CD version of the chorus over the Fully Alive performance. Not sure what compelled them to do it. I guess MTV just sucks like that sometimes.

In the gallery, I added some beautiful new photoshoot shots taken by James Minchin. All of the new ones are in high quality. A few more photos from the Cornerstone Festival were also added thanks to Sarah.

I’ve been fiddling around with a new layout the past few hours. I’m trying to do better than the ones I’ve already made, but I’m failing miserably, so it might be a few days before I come up with something. Oh zee tortured world of graphic design.

I need to say something. - 19 Comments

I’m going to paste an explanation I made in the comments a few days ago for everybody who’s emailed me or commented about videos, because my patience is wearing thin. I’ve been trying my hardest to make this site as good as it is, and when people constantly ask for more, it makes me feel like I suck. So here goes:

The reason I’m putting a couple videos up at a time is to make them last. The last time a full show was put up in one pop, we had about a week or so span of not adding videos because we had nothing to add in that particular section. People decided to complain about the lack of new videos. Meanwhile, there was at least 40/50 videos already on the site, which is a TON more than normal fansites host. Especially fansites without fifteen million ads.

I was honestly really bothered by it. So to prevent people from bugging me about the lack of new videos, I decided to space them out between updates. It’s obviously not working.

I really try my best, and so do the people who help me out with the site, and I generally add things as I get them. Also, it’s not an easy process for Caleb to cut the videos up, convert them and edit them. It’s a pain to have people contact us by email or through here asking for more. If there’s more to add, be patient, because we’re not going to hold out on you.

I want to publicly ask everyone to please stop emailing me or commenting about videos not being up. There are over 100 videos on this site. That’s more than any fansite I have ever seen in my days of webdesign. We don’t put ads on the site. We don’t ask for donations. We just ask for patience. Asking when they’ll be put up, or complaining about it won’t make me go any faster. It’ll just make me want to burst into emo tears.

Also, since I’m being open here, I’d like to also publicly say that I’m not a filesharing machine. I support this band with everything I have, and I’m not going to send you their entire repertoire in MP3 format when most of it can be purchased. I get asked several times a day through email, and I’ve even gotten hate letters from people for not forking the audio over.

I really enjoy doing this site, and I love that most of you guys are so supportive. It makes doing all of this worth it. I guess I just wanted to get that out.

Making of Fully Alive + Caps = Yay! - 11 Comments

The MTV2 Special for the Making of Fully Alive has been put up on the video page. Big giant enormous huge thanks goes to Caleb for driving 50 miles to his parents house to get it and 50 miles back. He also chopped it up, sat through hours of not-working internet, and then uploaded it just now. So…yay for him!

In the gallery, I uploaded caps from Fully Alive. Feel free to make graphics or what have you with those.

Video Premiere - 12 Comments

Click the picture to go to the video page. The HQ copy of the video has been added. Thanks to Caleb for obtaining the HQ and Josh for the LQ. It’s one of the most beautiful videos I’ve ever seen as far as imagery, and I’m not just being a proud fan. Or maybe I am. I don’t know. Go judge for yourself!

The MTV2 special should be coming within the next couple hours so keep a look out. Caleb’s internet died right as he was about to upload and I guess it’ll be down ’til 7AM. Sorry, but it’ll have to wait ’til tomorrow. *pouts* I still haven’t seen it either, so I’m just as bummed as anyone. Feel free to discuss the video amongst yourselves in the comments.

Also, some new photoshoot pictures have been released. Click the respective pictures to see those and here to see the old behind the scenes pictures as well.

Fully Alive Video Newsss - 27 Comments

On Monday July 24, MTV2 will be showing a “Making of the Video” with Flyleaf for Fully Alive. A 15 second promo for the show, which shows some of the video, has been already playing on MTV2. So if you watch that channel, keep a look out for it. The site will have the show and the video up a day or so after it airs for anyone who doesn’t have the channel.

There’s a contest happening over on where you can win a Meet and Greet with Flyleaf on their tour bus at Family Values. There will be 5 winners, and 10 who will receive an autographed Flyleaf album.

MTV2 All That Rocks is airing on July 30th, which is coming up pretty soon. So keep voting for Flyleaf as the New Breakout Band.

On the video page, more songs from The Complex were put up. The rest will come with the next update, and then the Juanita’s videos will be added in blocks. So watch for those soon. The full Jimmy Kimmel performance of Fully Alive was also added thanks to Kelly Carter. It was ripped from a LQ stream on Kimmel’s website, so forgive the quality.

A bunch of photos from The Complex were added thanks to Preston Rodgers. A few more from Cornerstone were added as well which were photographed by The Stir.

Not much else has been going on since Flyleaf has been on a well deserved vacation from touring. Things will probably pick up when Fully Alive is released in a few days, and the Family Values Tour starts up. In the meantime, if anyone has requests or ideas as far as new things you’d like to see, drop me a line and I’ll see what I can do.

Guitar World article, new videos, updated discography, HOORAY! - 10 Comments

So, I’m back from my camping trip and I bear gifts of the Flyleaf caliber. Rejoice! Your Flyleaf drought is over! 8D

The discography section got a big facelift today. I added links to purchase the various EPs/Albums, and I also added the Rolling Stone Originals EP along with the Walmart EP. Also in the band section, I updated the chart history page with new numbers. Fully Alive has reached #28 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, and the album has sold roughly 281,000 copies.

The video page was also broken up into sections because it was getting way too big. Four videos from The Complex show were added. More to come from that show later on. One from the Cornerstone festival was also put up.

I finally got my hands on the infamous Guitar World article for everyone to take a look at. Please remember that the whole thing is made up before taking it seriously. Also in the gallery, I added a nice shot of Lacey taken by Sean Moorman. A bunch of snazzy photos from Cornerstone were uploaded thanks to Cindy. A set of photos from Flyleaf’s Discover and Download set from were put up here. Those were taken by the wonderful Amy Cooper.

Video stuff from the video nerd - 10 Comments

I had to try my hand at updating Flyleaf Online while Brittany communes with the bears and moths (her favorite) for a few days, so I have, as promised, put up the performances of I’m So Sick and Fully Alive from the Jimmy Kimmel show that aired tonight. Check those out on the Video Page. They’re a little large, but some low quality versions will be coming sometime in the near future. Also coming up soon will be a video of the Memphis, TN show from July 5th at The Complex. If we’re lucky, I’ll have that up by the end of the week. I’ve been awake for 24 hours, so now that I’ve finally gotten the night’s work done and uploaded, I really think it’s time to crash. Enjoy.

Life is like a box-a choc-o-lates. [/random] - 13 Comments

I really don’t have much to update, but I probably should try to anyway. I’m going to be without an internet connection from July 10-13. I believe that Caleb will be ripping Jimmy Kimmel and posting the video as soon as possible so nobody will be missing out on that. For anyone who’s wondering, they’ll be doing Fully Alive for the performance.

A tidbit about the MTV2 All That Rocks show: The performance is of Fully Alive and it was apparently taped at The Pound on May 13, 2006. Anna, who attended the show, said that’s what Lacey told the crowd. Don’t forget to vote vote vote. It’d be super awesome if they won.

In the band section, the chart history page and the tour dates were updated.

The audio page was updated with the X1063 Interview. The interview includes two acoustic performances done by Lacey and Pat. The version of I’m So Sick acoustic is very different than the normal. It’s a nice change, I think.

On the video page, the Rolling Stone acoustic videos were added in non-realplayer format. Those are really well done, so I encourage everyone to check them out.

The gallery was updated with a photo from The Complex thanks to Caleb, some from Ziggy’s thanks to Justin, and a bunch of promotional photos from Download Festival.

If anyone has anything they need to send to my email, feel free, but I’ll probably be delayed in responding/updating. ‘Til then, enjoy Caleb’s Jimmy Kimmel update in a couple days. If he slacks and doesn’t add it right away, make a lot of comments saying ‘hurry up’ so he’ll get a move on. 8D

Jimmy Kimmel Update, Videos, Audio andddd Pictures - 3 Comments

For everyone that has been wondering, the Jimmy Kimmel appearance has been rescheduled to July 10th. Also, Jared and Sameer are featured in a write up in Guitar World. According to Kat Hartmann, the whole thing is completely fabricated and the guys didn’t say anything that the article quotes them as saying. I might pick it up and scan it just to see what it says, but I can’t promise anything.

I was looking around the net recently, and I found out that this MTV2 All That Rocks appears to be an awards show. So I encourage everyone to vote for Flyleaf to win. You can vote more than once, so get to it. According to this article, they’re supposed to be making an appearance on the show. No idea when its being taped, but its airing July 30th.

In the band section, I added a few articles. The titles of those are: Stars and Stripes Article, Faith Powers Texas Quintet Flyleaf and Flyleaf Aren’t Evanescence, And Boys Smell.

The audio page was updated with the Edgefest show they played in Dallas thanks to Tracie. An interview the band did with Rhapsody was also added. A few more video clips from Edgefest were uploaded thanks to David. A ten minute long video with Lacey behind the camera is available on the video page for download. She basically goes around asking the band members questions. For anyone who hasn’t met them yet, you can see what they’re like off stage and out of an interview setting.

In the gallery, a bunch of photos from May Day 2006 were put up thanks to Scott Legato. Some various ones from City Stages and Rock am Ring surfaced, and bunch from Edgefest thanks to David were added as well. A couple new shots of Flyleaf with fans were uploaded thanks to Wendigo.

If anybody missed the MySpace bulletin with behind the scenes pictures from the newest photoshoot, I put those up in the gallery here. Hopefully some of those pictures pop up soon.

MySpace update, Atlanta acoustic show, videos and pictures. - 12 Comments

The show in Oklahoma and Jimmy Kimmel were apparently cancelled for a good reason. The band is currently in LA getting ready to shoot the video for Fully Alive. Jared posted a MySpace bulletin letting everyone know about a few things.

Hey everyone! I hope you all are doing well. We’ve been so busy with touring lately. The shows are going great and thanks so much to all of our fans who are coming out to support us!

This week we are in LA shooting our new music video for “Fully Alive” with The Brothers Strauss again. They’re really great guys, and the video seems like its going to be really cool so keep your eyes open for it.

We’re at a photo shoot right now and we’re all getting our hair, make-up, and wardrobe done. Then tomorrow, we’ll start shooting the music video. By Friday we will be in Atlanta and we’ll do the second half of our headlining tour until we get a few weeks off in July. We’re all looking forward to being home for a bit.

Here in the next few days we’re going to be posting some behind the scenes pictures that we’ve been taking while we’ve been on the road, so keep your eyes peeled!

Thanks again for your support and we’ll see you soon!

Take care and God bless,

Before I start rambling on about other site updates, I’d like to extend a big Happy Birthday to James. :]

For everybody in the Atlanta area, Flyleaf will be playing a free in-store performance at Criminal Records on June 23rd at 6PM before their scheduled show. According to the email I got earlier today, it should be an acoustic type setting.

In the media section, I added a graphic fanart made by Val and two short videos from Edgefest thanks to Tracie.

The gallery was updated with new pictures from Edgefest thanks to Tracie, as well as some various ones from May Day, WHFS Festival, The Roxy Theatre and some of Flyleaf with their fans.

If you’re so inclined, you guys can vote for Flyleaf at to be “the breaking new band“. They’re up against Panic! at the Disco and Avenged Sevenfold.

Does anyone even read the title anyway? - 10 Comments

I have updates! I know what you’re thinking. “No way!” Right? Totally with you on that one.

In the band section, I added a few interviews up. One of them is an interview with Lacey and the other is an interview with Pat. On the chart history page, I added Fully Alive’s status. It’s number #37 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The FAQ was updated with another song meaning, and on the video information page I added the couple tidbits we know about the Fully Alive video.

On the audio page, a new acoustic version of I’m So Sick was added. A new photoshop brush page was put up as well. I added a set that includes logos and various pieces of the album art. If anyone has any other brushes they’d like to see, feel free to ask and I’ll see what I can do. One new signature was added thanks to Sleepwalker, and the rest of the Stubb’s BBQ videos were too.

In the gallery, some photos from the Fat Tuesdays soundcheck, and a meet and greet afterwards were put up. A few from a ROCK 94 radio show and one more from Rock am Ring were as well.
