I have lots and lots of updates tonight, starting with the chart history page. Breathe Today has moved up a few spots to #36 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. In addition to that, the tour page has been updated with new dates. Flyleaf will be playing a few Christian festivals this summer including Creation and Sonshine. I added a show count to each year, and a total one to the main tour page as well. After tallying them all up, the band has played over 550 shows since 2002 that I’ve logged in the tour section. I’m sure there’s more that I don’t have, but still. That’s crazy.

In the media section, I’ve added a few new interviews with radio stations that the band has done. We also have a new wallpaper thanks to Marley. As promised, the entire Columbia show has been posted. A big thanks to Spree for shooting that, and uploading it. Also, a new interview with James for Vic Firth has been uploaded.

The fans section has been updated with a brand new tattoo thanks to Jenn. A few new pieces of fan art have also been added thanks to Mooncownow, Nichola and Hope.

Okay, Breathe Today is not the next single. Here’s what happened, in order to show appreciation to the radio stations that have been playing Flyleaf a lot, Octone/A&M sent out Breathe Today and Fully Alive acoustic versions to say thank you and here’s some extra stuff. It’s too soon to release another single, but they are thinking about which one will be next – it’s just really up in the air between 3 songs. So, there wont be another music video for a long time and I can’t see them releasing another single until after the new year for sure.

That is what management told us! :) — Kat Hartmann

So All Access confused us, but now we have the real story thanks to Jared’s wife, Kat Hartmann. :D

In other news — in the media section, a brand new MySpace Layout has been added. I figured it was about time for a new one. I’ll most likely be working on more sometime soon. To view it, you can click here.

The chart history page was also updated. The band sold over 10,000 records last week. :D I also updated the tour page with a few new dates.

Flyleaf will be embarking on a large European tour spanning over 15 countries in early 2008. They’ll be touring with Korn and Deathstar. All of the dates that have been announced have been posted on the tour page. Also, some miscellaneous headlining shows in the US have been posted as well for late 2007.

Flyleaf is nominated in the CCM Reader’s Choice for Best Band of ’07 and Best Hard Music of ’07. To vote for the band, visit this link and fill out the survey.

Just a reminder to everyone who wants to enter the Flyleaf Online Karaoke Contest; the contest ends on September 30, 2007. So get your submissions in before the deadline if you want to be up for some cool prizes.

Guitar Hero III for X-Box

Fans already salivating for next month’s release of the video game “Guitar Hero III” will be treated to an Interscope CD featuring music from the game and a special code unlocking new or remixed songs from Marilyn Manson, AFI and Flyleaf.

Via a code that will come with the disc, Xbox Live users can unlock the bonus playable songs “Carcinogen Crush” from AFI, “Tina” from Flyleaf and a remix of Manson’s “Putting Holes in Happiness” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner.

Also, the Flyleaf Street Team is buzzing with news of new Flyleaf coming in October. What it actually is has remained a secret, but I’ve heard rumors of a Flyleaf LP reissue with new artwork and features or a Flyleaf DVD. Not sure exactly yet, but it’ll be posted here as soon as I know.

In other news, FlyleafMusic.com and the Flyleaf Merch Site have gotten makeovers. Nothing new as far as content really, but it’s worth looking at because it’s pretty. :D In addition to that, Flyleaf is nominated on Cornerstone’s “Favorite Shows” poll, so everyone should go and vote for the band there. Registration is free on that site, so go nuts.

Band section pages that have been updated this time include chart history as well as the tour page.

In the media section, the radio audio page and the misc audio page have been updated with new stuff. A couple more videos from the Atlanta FVT date have been added to the live video page thanks to Spree. Also, coming soon to theatres, we have 3 or 4 full length Flyleaf shows in the works to be posted in the video section. Those include the secret MySpace show and Holypalooza thanks to Spree, Hartford FVT [including a short acoustic show/interview] thanks to Ali and the Scranton Tink’s show thanks to Caleb. So look out for that in the coming weeks.

PS – The band loved the second Scrapbook. They really appreciate that all of the fans are pitching in to do this project, so hopefully we can keep it going. Thank you guys for helping me out by sending in amazing messages for the band.

Click above to demand Flyleaf to come to your college. The top 5 colleges on the list will have a show played at their college. So if you live near any of the colleges listed on that site and want to see the band play, you should participate.

Also, Flyleaf will be making an appearance at the Gallery of Sound in Dickson City, PA before their show at Tink’s on September 18th. The first 200 people to show up get a one of a kind Flyleaf t-shirt in addition to meeting the band.

Actual site updates to come soon. Just wanted to post this bit of news for everyone. :]

Flyleaf will be playing a secret show on September 12, 2007 at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, NC. If you’re in that general area, you should consider going to the show. It’s absolutely free of charge. The ST has had us promoting the show, so that’s how we know it’s official. Otherwise, it’s been a well kept secret. Go to the show and support the band if you’re nearby!

In other news, the official merch site has been updated with new shirts and a new hoodie. The band also has a page on SayNow.com where they post voicemail messages from the road.

The band section has been updated with new tour dates and some new numbers on the chart history page.

In the media section, I finally added the audio from the Rolling Stone Acoustics since they’re no longer available for purchase. In addition to that, some new videos were added. 3 new live videos from Atlanta thanks to Spree, and 1 amazing interview from Music Choice’s Fresh Crops thanks to Josh.

In the internet section some new affiliates were added including a brand new Flyleaf site called Flyleaf Web. So go show Justin some love and visit his site.

A reminder to those who want to donate something to the Scrapbook Project: I’m going to be putting another book together between this and next weekend to give to the band at the Scranton, PA Tink’s show on September 18th. So if you want to be included in the next book, please email me your submission soon.

The new Flyleaf Online contest has now started. Since you guys requested it, the theme is a karaoke contest. I provided 3 karaoke tracks for everyone to sing along to, and all the details are on this page. An instrument related cover contest might come along in the future, as well as the other ideas you guys suggested. Thanks for all of the ideas. :]

I also tweaked the layout a little and made it a little more colorful with a new header image. I hope everyone enjoys it a little more now.

The band section was updated with some new chart numbers as well as some new tour dates that the band will be playing in September.

Thank you to everyone who commented on the new layout and suggested things for the new fan section. I appreciate all the kind words and I’ll definitely look into getting some of the sections setup that people requested. :D

In the band section, a new interview with Lacey was posted. It’s a fairly recent interview where she talks about the Justice and Mercy tour as well as the upcoming FVT. Some tour dates were edited, and a bunch were archived. Also, some new numbers were updated on the chart page. Flyleaf had a big sales boost this week and are currently #105 on the Billboard Top 200.

The media section was updated with 3 new videos. One is an interview that the band did with IMF. The other two are live videos. One is Again from Chambersburg and the other is Justice and Mercy from Camden.

I setup the beginnings of the fan tattoos page. I’ve still got a couple to add. If you have a tattoo that pertains to Flyleaf, feel free to shoot me an email with a picture and your story.

Everyone has most likely heard about Lacey’s voice and the postponed tour dates by now. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and hope that her voice will make a full recovery soon. All of the dates that were affected were updated on the tour page. In addition to those, the Family Values 2007 venues/dates were added to the page as well.

On April 17th, All Around Me was released to alternative rock radio stations. Be sure to call up to request the song at your local station to lend your support to the single. There still hasn’t been news about the video plans, but I’m sure we’ll hear something soon.

The chart history page was updated with new numbers. Flyleaf has hit over 600,000 albums sold, so a big congrats to them. :D

In the media section, 6 videos were added. Thanks to Michael for sending in his videos from the White Rabbit show. Two videos were added in the miscellaneous section thanks to Kat Hartmann. There’s one of Lacey explaining the story of Cassie, and another of Pat getting ready for a show. In addition to that, 2 more of the Did Somebody Say Rock Star? videos were added up. Big thanks to Caleb for getting all of those set for the site. He’s the bestest.

Also, I’d like to give a hearty welcome to Ali, who is going to be joining the Flyleaf Online team. She’s incredibly talented, she’s a big Flyleaf fan, and she’s a good friend of Caleb and I. So we asked her to join our ranks, and she did ['cuz she's awesome]. She’ll be posting updates for you guys whenever she gets a chance, so keep a look out for her. *tosses confetti for Ali*

The second leg of the Justice and Mercy tour has been announced. All of the dates have been posted on the tour page. The May 19th date has been posted differently all over the net. In the Flyleaf mailing list email, it’s listed as The Station. On their MySpace blog, it’s listed as Irving Plaza in Clifton Park [which isn't in Clifton Park], and on Kill Hannah’s MySpace [who they will be touring with during the second leg] it says they’re playing at Northern Lights in Clifton Park. So if you’re planning on attending any three of those dates, keep a look out until it’s confirmed.

Flyleaf will be launching an official fanclub sometime in May according to their ticketing site and various announcements today. “Fan Club members will receive access to a member’s only website with exclusive content, chat servers, contests and promotional opportunities throughout the year.” There isn’t much information floating around about it, but I’ll let everyone know more about it when I find something.

One new article was posted earlier on this week. It gives some information on the new album. According to the article, seven new tracks have been written for the record, and they’re hoping to begin recording sometime this summer for a late 2007/early 2008 release.

Four new pieces of fanart have been added in the media section. Thank you to Ali, Michael and S.Vetter for donating those. They all came out beautifully.

In the gallery, a bunch of pictures were added from the White Rabbit show in San Antonio taken by Ali. The reason you see acoustic guitars and darkness is because lightning struck outside the venue right before Flyleaf’s set and blew the electricity. They were troopers and brought out the acoustics to continue the show [without speakers or microphones]. I saw a few videos that a fan named Michael sent in, and the entire crowd was singing along to every word. It looks like everyone had a blast. I’ll add the videos and a ton more pictures in the next few days.

As soon as dates become available, they will be posted so keep a look out.

The Justice and Mercy tour officially kicked off a couple nights ago. The band has been playing three new songs on the tour, and thanks to Kat Hartmann, the setlist from the Memphis show can be posted.

Fully Alive
I’m Sorry
Sorrow
All Around Me
Believe in Dreams – Acoustic
Have We Lost (new)

Kat said the setlist might be different for upcoming shows, but it still gives you a good idea of what to expect if you’re seeing the band perform on this tour.

In the band section, a few new articles were added. Those would be the Domain Cleveland interview with Lacey and The First Page with Sameer. The discography has also been updated with the new song titles.

The media section was updated with one new interview on the audio page. In addition to that, one new very nice drawing was added to the fanart page.

Before I leave to take a mini-vacation in Cape Cod, I figured I’d update the website. :D

Flyleaf is appearing on Yahoo’s Cover Art with a cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. You can view that here. It’ll be available for download here in a few days. Lacey cut her hair again and has a lip ring in. There are pictures of the Yahoo performance in the gallery for everyone to see.

Some small changes were made to the layout. I got kinda bored, so I decided to change it up a bit. In addition to that, the tour dates were updated with a bunch of new dates. Some of those are Acquire the Fire dates for anyone who was curious about which shows they were going to play.

Hey everyone — long time no see. The Flyleaf front has been kind of quiet lately, but I finally come bearing news. Flyleaf will be headlining the “Justice and Mercy” tour starting in late March. The tour page has been heavily updated with a bunch of new dates. Octone says that the support for the tour will include Skillet, Dropping Daylight, Resident Hero and ‘others’. According to Kat Hartmann, they’ll also be going overseas to the UK to play some dates with Stone Sour and some Acquire the Fire shows. I’m not sure of the exact dates, so those aren’t up yet.

Also according to Kat, the band recently spent about 10 days recording with producer Mark Lewis at James’ house. Some new songs and very different acoustic versions of the ones we already know were recorded, and might pop up on a CD or at live shows.

As far as site updates go, three new interviews were added. Those interviews are Christian Music Planet with Lacey # 2, Fashion 18 with Sameer and Mish Mash Interview with Lacey.

Yesterday, I updated the gallery software…which none of you probably noticed but that’s okay. A few albums were also updated.

Random Sidenote: The site should look decent and centered in all browsers now. I take no credit. Caleb and his awesomeness made that work. Go him. *<8D

Flyleaf is participating in this nifty thing where you can sign up to get voicemail messages from the band while they’re on the road. To sign up for it, you all can click here. It’s pretty cool, and they do send the messages. Pat sent out a message last night. He basically summarized the tour and the goings on in their lives. So everyone sign up and listen to messages.

The band will be heading out on a small tour with Three Days Grace in early February. The tour dates are posted on the marquee and on the tour page. To all fans that are interested in going, I encourage you to take advantage of the presale that artistarena is holding. The username and password are “flyleaf” and “tickets” respectively.

In the media section, some new fanart pieces were uploaded. One drawing from Ali and one vexel from Stephanie. Both came out beautifully, so check them out. Also, a big thanks to Ali because we now have another set of videos coming. She recorded the Dallas MAAW show on her camera because she rocks. Thanks to Caleb for editing and uploading.

Edit:A German MTV interview featuring Lacey and Jim Root of Stone Sour was put up on the video page also.

Thanks to Dacia for sending in the new pictures in the gallery.

The lyrics for Justice and Mercy and the Christmas Song are now up in the discography. Also, in the band section, there are some new Australian tour dates as well as some new numbers for the chart history.

The contest is going well. I’ve gotten a bunch of great entries. Thanks to everyone who has made a wallpaper thus far. *puts on cheesy advertising voice* To everyone else, enter for your chance to win! :D

In the gallery, a few new additions were put up. Some from the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland were added, as well as some from a radio show there. A couple more from Flyleaf’s buzznet page, and a Japanese article from Rockin’ On magazine were also put up.

Edit: The video page was updated with two more performances from the Six Flags show. Brittany’s been a busy worker bee lately so I hadn’t had a chance to tell her they were ready for the new update. Enjoy. –Caleb

Hey everyone — glad you’re liking the new layout. I’ll see what I can do about adding the acoustic Supernatural to the radio.

In the band section, I added a new interview up that Pat and Sameer did while they were in Germany. They talk about making the record, and their time in Germany amongst other things.

The tour page was updated with a new date that the band is playing in New Hampshire. They’ll be doing a live show at Newbury Comics in Manchester and they’ll be signing autographs after the show. The show starts at 5PM and it’s free so get there early to get a good spot.

The video section is complete. Now you can stream every video on the site. Big, gigantic, enormous thank you to Caleb for doing the live shows page for me. He rules sometimes. :D

In the gallery, I uploaded an album of pictures from Flyleaf’s shows in Germany. I’m not sure which pictures are from where though, so I’ll have to sort them when I find out.

A few of the dates for the Disturbed tour have shown up on Ticketmaster for sale. I’ll try to keep an eye out to let everyone know when the rest are coming.

I heard a rumor from a little birdy that a new official MySpace layout is in the works, as well as a new EP that might be sold exclusively at the Music as a Weapon tour for charity. So start saving your pennies incase it happens so you can buy a few.

The official store has been updated with three new shirts and a brand new hoodie.

As for the Carson Daly video — there was an issue with the recording of the show, and unfortunately as of this moment, we don’t have a copy. But Scott of LaceyMosley.net has come to the rescue and said that he’ll provide us one. So whenever he sends it, I’ll add it up.

A new photoshoot and scans from Kerrang magazine have been added to the gallery. Click the respective pictures to view the albums.

The Music as a Weapon Tour III dates have been released. I have the whole batch of them, along with Flyleaf’s TV appearances listed on the tour page. I also fixed up the navigation for the tour archive and made it a little easier to surf through.

Today is also the one year anniversary of the Flyleaf LP debut. They’ve come quite a long way in the past year, and they all deserve a big congratulations on it. So congrats!

Lacey has been recognized by AOL Music as being one of the Top 20 “Women Who Rock”. She came in at #11. You can read what they had to say about her here.

Sean, the winner of Buzznet’s Fly Away contest was able to interview Flyleaf at the Boston date of the Family Values Tour. You can view the video here.

In the gallery, a few photos from Flyleaf’s performance on CD USA were added. You can see Pat’s supa awesome sharpie ‘stache in a few of them. You can also get a pretty clear view of Lacey’s new hair. I know a lot of people have been asking for pictures of it.

I’m back and bearing news. :] The Disturbed tour has been confirmed. It should be starting around November 14th and ending around December 20th. Not sure of dates yet, but I’ll put them up when I find them.

Good news for German fans — the band will be doing a few dates in Germany supporting Stone Sour at the end of October. I added the dates up on the tour page. I’m not sure if I got the venues correct, because the official German Flyleaf site and the ticket site differed slightly. Any people familiar with German venues, feel free to shoot me an email if I messed something up.

The discography was updated with a new EP. Flyleaf covered U2′s ‘Stay’ live for Sirius Octane, and a new studio recording has surfaced on the Target Red Room EP. It’s available at, you guessed it, Target. It’s got about 17 songs from different artists, but it’s only 6 bucks or so. So I encourage everyone to go pick it up. The cover came out great. Aside from that and tour dates, the chart history page was updated. Fully Alive has moved up to #30 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart.

In the media section, All Around Me from Bethel was added in the video section. There are a couple more from that show, but the encoding is being troublesome according to Caleb, so hold tight for now. They’ll be up soon, hopefully.

The gallery was updated with:

- 07 from Buzznet
- 75 from SPAC
- 18 from New England Dodge

I got an overwhelming response in regards to the last update in the past few days which was unexpected, but very appreciated nonetheless. Thanks to everyone who commented and emailed. It means a lot.

A new Flyleaf contest has surfaced on Buzznet.com. Everyone can check out the details and join that here. You get to fly to Boston, take pictures and meet the band if you win.

In the band section, the tour dates and chart history were updated.

The media section got about 7 new videos. The last 5 from The Complex were added, and the 2 videos from MTV2 All that Rocks were as well. Thanks to Caleb for those. I’m sure most of you will notice that MTV dubbed the CD version of the chorus over the Fully Alive performance. Not sure what compelled them to do it. I guess MTV just sucks like that sometimes.

In the gallery, I added some beautiful new photoshoot shots taken by James Minchin. All of the new ones are in high quality. A few more photos from the Cornerstone Festival were also added thanks to Sarah.

I’ve been fiddling around with a new layout the past few hours. I’m trying to do better than the ones I’ve already made, but I’m failing miserably, so it might be a few days before I come up with something. Oh zee tortured world of graphic design.
