Thanks to everyone who sent in stuff for the karaoke contest. Everyone is doing great so far. The prizes are a lot cooler this time around, so if you haven’t already, check out our contest and consider joining. :D

Jared posted a new blog on the band’s MySpace where he talked about the new album amongst various other things. For those of you who don’t visit their MySpace, here’s what he had to say about it:

Lacey started writing a new song using Garage Band. It sounds really cool so far. We’ll all get together and work on it when we get a chance, she only has 2 or 3 lines written, but it seems cool so I’m excited about working on it.

As for when our new cd will come out, we’re really not sure right now. Hopefully we will get to start recording it at the beginning of next year, and we’ll have it out early 2008 – it’s just so hard to tell though because we are touring so much. We have been working on writing a lot though and we have about six or seven songs we’re working with and a couple of more ideas to go from. Maybe we’ll get to put one or two of our really old songs on the new album, and we’ll change them a bit. We really don’t know…but we’re REALLY looking forward to getting to write it.

In addition to that, the charts page has been updated. The band is up to #17 on the Hot Modern Rock chart, #66 on the Top 200, and #20 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. They’ve also sold over 702,000 albums, and shipped over 743,000. They’re getting up there towards platinum, so that’s awesome. :D

The gallery got a makeover a few minutes ago. It’s now purple and features a new photoshoot picture of the band.

Name Flyleaf’s Fanclub, Audio, Charts, Gallery - 13 Comments

Flyleaf has opened a new contest that allows you to name their new fan club. Read below for details:

Flyleaf needs a name for their new official fan club. Email your suggestions for a name to and you could win a free lifetime membership in the Flyleaf Fan Club and an acoustic Parkwood Guitar signed by Flyleaf!

You can email as many suggestions as you like, and the band will personally pick their favorite. Please send all submissions to before June 27, 2007 at 10:00am EST.

The band section has been updated with new numbers on the chart history page. In addition to that, the FAQ has been updated as well as the video information page.

In the media section, two recent live shows were added to the audio page. One is from Irving Plaza and the other is from the Tweeter Center. I’ll be adding up some new live videos soon. We just have to get them encoded and uploaded. I believe there are about ten.

AAM Video, Charts, Photo - 92 Comments

Sorry about the absence of updates. I took a vacation to the south and had minimal internet. But I’m back, so updates will resume as scheduled. :D

First off, Flyleaf will be featured on Fuse’s The Sauce on May 16th. I don’t have Fuse, so I’m not sure how soon I’ll be able to get a video. If anyone wants to grab a high quality rip for the site, I’d be forever appreciative and give a Flyleaf related gift to the first person who gets it to me.

The All Around Me video has been shot. According to Exodite on Flyleaf Fans, the video is performance based with lots of spilling paint everywhere. He spoke with Pat at a recent show. A picture from the set posted by hl9ac in the comments confirms this.

Click on the picture for a larger version. No word on a release date yet, but it’ll be posted here as soon as we hear.

The lyrics to the new song Again were posted here in the band section. Thanks to Tyler for getting those and sending them in. Also, the chart history page was updated with new numbers. All Around Me has landed on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart on at #35.

The video page was updated with the last acoustic video from the White Rabbit in San Antonio as well as the last two videos from Kat Hartmann. One of those videos is of Lacey giving a tour of the bus, and the other is of Jared showing everyone how Pat warms up before shows. Enjoy!

All Around Me Video, Chart History, Pictures, Videos - 37 Comments

Some news about the All Around Me video has been released. The director of the video will be Paul Fedor. He’s done videos like Evanescence’s ‘Lithium’, Seether’s ‘Fine Again’ and POD’s ‘Youth of the Nation’. For a complete list of his music videos, visit this page.

In the band section, I updated the chart history page numbers with stats from Christian Rock charts. Perfect is currently #1 according to, so congratulations to Flyleaf on that.

The wallpaper section was updated with one new desktop made by Beckie. In addition to that, three new videos were added to the video page. One of those is I’m Sorry from the White Rabbit, and the other two videos are from Kat Hartmann. The first is of Jared sending a message to the fans, and the other is of the band before they go on stage in Oklahoma.

FVT Dates, Videos, Charts, All Around Me & More - 28 Comments

Everyone has most likely heard about Lacey’s voice and the postponed tour dates by now. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and hope that her voice will make a full recovery soon. All of the dates that were affected were updated on the tour page. In addition to those, the Family Values 2007 venues/dates were added to the page as well.

On April 17th, All Around Me was released to alternative rock radio stations. Be sure to call up to request the song at your local station to lend your support to the single. There still hasn’t been news about the video plans, but I’m sure we’ll hear something soon.

The chart history page was updated with new numbers. Flyleaf has hit over 600,000 albums sold, so a big congrats to them. :D

In the media section, 6 videos were added. Thanks to Michael for sending in his videos from the White Rabbit show. Two videos were added in the miscellaneous section thanks to Kat Hartmann. There’s one of Lacey explaining the story of Cassie, and another of Pat getting ready for a show. In addition to that, 2 more of the Did Somebody Say Rock Star? videos were added up. Big thanks to Caleb for getting all of those set for the site. He’s the bestest.

Also, I’d like to give a hearty welcome to Ali, who is going to be joining the Flyleaf Online team. She’s incredibly talented, she’s a big Flyleaf fan, and she’s a good friend of Caleb and I. So we asked her to join our ranks, and she did [‘cuz she’s awesome]. She’ll be posting updates for you guys whenever she gets a chance, so keep a look out for her. *tosses confetti for Ali*

Tour, Fanart, Fanclub, Etc. - 79 Comments

The second leg of the Justice and Mercy tour has been announced. All of the dates have been posted on the tour page. The May 19th date has been posted differently all over the net. In the Flyleaf mailing list email, it’s listed as The Station. On their MySpace blog, it’s listed as Irving Plaza in Clifton Park [which isn’t in Clifton Park], and on Kill Hannah’s MySpace [who they will be touring with during the second leg] it says they’re playing at Northern Lights in Clifton Park. So if you’re planning on attending any three of those dates, keep a look out until it’s confirmed.

Flyleaf will be launching an official fanclub sometime in May according to their ticketing site and various announcements today. “Fan Club members will receive access to a member’s only website with exclusive content, chat servers, contests and promotional opportunities throughout the year.” There isn’t much information floating around about it, but I’ll let everyone know more about it when I find something.

One new article was posted earlier on this week. It gives some information on the new album. According to the article, seven new tracks have been written for the record, and they’re hoping to begin recording sometime this summer for a late 2007/early 2008 release.

Four new pieces of fanart have been added in the media section. Thank you to Ali, Michael and S.Vetter for donating those. They all came out beautifully.

In the gallery, a bunch of pictures were added from the White Rabbit show in San Antonio taken by Ali. The reason you see acoustic guitars and darkness is because lightning struck outside the venue right before Flyleaf’s set and blew the electricity. They were troopers and brought out the acoustics to continue the show [without speakers or microphones]. I saw a few videos that a fan named Michael sent in, and the entire crowd was singing along to every word. It looks like everyone had a blast. I’ll add the videos and a ton more pictures in the next few days.

Fully Alive
I’m Sorry
All Around Me
Believe in Dreams – Acoustic
Have We Lost (new)

Kat said the setlist might be different for upcoming shows, but it still gives you a good idea of what to expect if you’re seeing the band perform on this tour.

In the band section, a few new articles were added. Those would be the Domain Cleveland interview with Lacey and The First Page with Sameer. The discography has also been updated with the new song titles.

The media section was updated with one new interview on the audio page. In addition to that, one new very nice drawing was added to the fanart page.

New Single Info, Pictures, Wallpapers - 17 Comments

The new single has finally been confirmed. All Around Me will be going for alternative radio adds on April 17th. No word yet on the video, but it’ll be posted here as soon as it’s official. Perfect will be pushed towards Christian rock radio sometime soon as well.

The ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ cover was added to the radio for everyone to listen to whenever they want.

In the media section, I uploaded two new wallpapers. A beautiful new piece of fanart drawn by Cherry was also added.

Over 200 pictures were added to the gallery in the past week or so. Most of them are HQ. It’d take me forever to list them so just click the thumbnails and enjoy the big pictures. :D

Australia blog, News, Pictures, Audio, Video - 17 Comments

For everyone who doesn’t frequent MySpace or the official board much, Jared wrote a blog about their time in Australia. It includes a couple of really nice pictures.

Some related news — Octone has merged with A&M records. So Flyleaf will be moving over to that new label instead of just Octone. Everyone can read more about it here.

I recently updated the chart info page with a new number for Fully Alive. It looks like it’s gone up 3 slots to #31 on the Hot Modern Tracks chart.

In the audio section, I uploaded the audio from Flyleaf’s cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit. The direct link to download that is here. In the video section, the video from the performance was also added.

In the gallery, some HQ scans of the I’m So Sick international single have been uploaded as well as some HQ shots from the I’m So Sick set. In addition to that, the gallery has another new layout thanks to Tran. Click on the respective pictures to be taken to the galleries.

Justice and Mercy Tour, Pictures, News - 27 Comments

Hey everyone — long time no see. The Flyleaf front has been kind of quiet lately, but I finally come bearing news. Flyleaf will be headlining the “Justice and Mercy” tour starting in late March. The tour page has been heavily updated with a bunch of new dates. Octone says that the support for the tour will include Skillet, Dropping Daylight, Resident Hero and ‘others’. According to Kat Hartmann, they’ll also be going overseas to the UK to play some dates with Stone Sour and some Acquire the Fire shows. I’m not sure of the exact dates, so those aren’t up yet.

Also according to Kat, the band recently spent about 10 days recording with producer Mark Lewis at James’ house. Some new songs and very different acoustic versions of the ones we already know were recorded, and might pop up on a CD or at live shows.

As far as site updates go, three new interviews were added. Those interviews are Christian Music Planet with Lacey # 2, Fashion 18 with Sameer and Mish Mash Interview with Lacey.

Yesterday, I updated the gallery software…which none of you probably noticed but that’s okay. A few albums were also updated.

Random Sidenote: The site should look decent and centered in all browsers now. I take no credit. Caleb and his awesomeness made that work. Go him. *<8D

Holidayssss, Chart History, Wallpapers, Contest, Gallery - 30 Comments

To everyone who celebrated — I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Some of you might have noticed Lacey singing with POD on MTV on New Years Eve. Took me by surprise, or else I would have let everyone know about it. I’ve heard that you can find the performance on MTV’s site, but it’s just loading a big black page for me. We’ll try to get the video for everyone who missed it though.

Onto the contest winner(s). I put up a page where everyone can see/download the wallpapers that people entered for the MAAW EP contest. After much deliberation, I decided to go with 3 winners instead of 1. Maggie is the grand prize winner, and gets the package listed on the contest page. Maria and Jennifer are the runners up and will be receiving MAAW EPs as well. A sincere thank you to everyone who entered. Everyone did really awesome. I’ll probably add a new contest within a week with similar prizes.

In the band section, the chart history was updated. The band sold over 16,000 records last week with the holiday which is pretty impressive. Congratulations to them on that.

On the media page, I also added a donated wallpaper page. Feel free to contribute your own Flyleaf wallpapers if you have any. Credit is always given.

The Flyleaf Fanlisting got a makeover a few days ago. If you haven’t already, feel free to join. It has well over 400 members now.

A big thank you to Chris for sending in all of his Flyleaf pictures. :D

Gold Record, Contest, Gallery and Videos! - 5 Comments

It’s official! Flyleaf’s debut album has gone gold. Congratulations to Jared, Pat, Sameer, Lacey and James on all of the great things that have happened in the past few years.

MTV2 is sponsoring a contest where you can meet the band on the Chicago stop of the Music as a Weapon tour. You get an all access pass for the show, and afterwards you get to go bowling with them. You can enter the contest here.

Site updates include a snazzy new navigation dropdown feature thanks to Caleb. The chart history page has been tweaked to include new numbers and the gold certification memo. In addition to that, the last of the videos from the Six Flags show have been added. Another big thank you to Francine for sending the DVD and to Caleb for editing.

The gallery has been updated with the following:

Coming Soon To Theatres - 8 Comments

Edit: I found what looks to be the tracklisting for the Family Values Tour DVD and CD. From what I understand the two will be sold separately. On the CD, Flyleaf will have tracks for I’m So Sick and Pride (In The Name Of Love) with Richard Patrick, and on the DVD they’ll have I’m So Sick and Something I Can Never Have. The DVD and CD should be released on December 26th according to the FVT site. You can sign up to promote the release here.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I’m still alive and kickin’. The Flyleaf world has been a little quiet as of late with the band overseas, so I’ve been doing some stuff behind the scenes. A big feature is going to be unveiled in the near future. I’m not sure how near, because it’s proving to be a lot of work, but hopefully everyone will enjoy it once it’s ready. I’m also fiddling with a new look for the site with a slightly different setup. If anyone has thoughts on what they’d like to see on it, feel free to send an email with suggestions.

Onto the updates (which are few, but better than nothing)! The chart history has been updated. They’re up to about 421,000 albums sold now.

The video page has a couple new additions. Continued thanks to Francine and Caleb for those. Speshul thanks to Caleb for updating for me when I was real tired. Work has been kicking my butt as of late.

Anddddd in the gallery, some more from the Cornerstone Festival were added as well as a few of Flyleaf with fans.

Also, a biiiiiiiiiiig, giant happy birthday to Pat and Jared. *<8D

Ticket Sales, News and Pictures - 21 Comments

A few of the dates for the Disturbed tour have shown up on Ticketmaster for sale. I’ll try to keep an eye out to let everyone know when the rest are coming.

I heard a rumor from a little birdy that a new official MySpace layout is in the works, as well as a new EP that might be sold exclusively at the Music as a Weapon tour for charity. So start saving your pennies incase it happens so you can buy a few.

The official store has been updated with three new shirts and a brand new hoodie.

As for the Carson Daly video — there was an issue with the recording of the show, and unfortunately as of this moment, we don’t have a copy. But Scott of has come to the rescue and said that he’ll provide us one. So whenever he sends it, I’ll add it up.

A new photoshoot and scans from Kerrang magazine have been added to the gallery. Click the respective pictures to view the albums.

LJ Community, Last.FM, Pictures - 8 Comments

For everyone who has an LJ, feel free to join the Flyleaf community I made. I registered the name back in December of last year, but I never customized it or anything until recently. It’s now open for business though. Once it gains some members, I’ll open applications for moderators/maintainers to help run the community.

I’m not sure if I ever put it here, but I opened a Flyleaf group on Last.FM. So if you have an account there, feel free to join that too and post on the forums if you’re feeling whimsical.

In the gallery, I added a few pictures from The Metro thanks to Samantha S.

As for the CD USA thing, if it would be possible for someone to nab a video copy of their performance on that show for the site, that would be awesome. Neither Caleb or I are Direct TV customers, so we can’t do it unfortunately. If you can do it, please email me and let me know. Thanks in advance to anyone who’s willing.

Also, the Carson Daly show is only being taped on the 28th. I don’t think that’s when the show actually airs. They’re not listed as being on for Thursday. Whenever I figure out the actual air date, I’ll update everyone here.

Carson Daly, CD USA, Wallpaper, Videos - 5 Comments

According to Flyleaf’s MySpace, the band is going to be taping a performance for Last Call with Carson Daly on September 28th. They’ll also be taping a performance for CD USA on the same day. Information on how to attend these shows can be found on

The interview for Lacey was sent out today, so there’s no need to send more questions in. Since there were so many (even after I narrowed them down), she’s going to send one question/answer at a time that I’ll post with an update.

In the media section, the last two videos from Bethel were added. I think that’s the last of the videos that we have for now. So enjoy the 139 videos on the site, ’cause it’s all you’re gettin’ for now. ;) Also, I added two new wallpapers.

Yesterday, I did a massive upgrade to the gallery software. It was running on a really old version. It took me a good chunk of the night to get everything backed up and updated. I had to recode the template because the old one didn’t want to cooperate with the new one. I doubt anybody will notice a change, but it’s an update nonetheless. Aside from that, I added a few new SPAC pictures taken by my awesome local radio station 103.1. There hasn’t been much else surfacing lately, so if you guys are taking pictures, feel free to send them in if you wouldn’t mind seeing them in the gallery.

I updated the Flyleaf links page today with a few new sites. If any of you run a Flyleaf fansite or forum, email me and I’ll add your link to that page.

More News and Pictures - 4 Comments

Flyleaf and Richard Patrick of Army of Anyone (Filter) collaborated on the U2 song “Pride (In the Name of Love)” for the Family Values Tour in Holmdel, New Jersey. According to the band’s MySpace, the song has been recorded for the Family Values Tour album due to come out in early December 2006.

Aside from that, the tour dates have been updated with another Stone Sour date and a few pictures have been added to the gallery. Click the thumbnails to go to the respective albums.

Tour news, discography, pictures and video - 5 Comments

I’m back and bearing news. :] The Disturbed tour has been confirmed. It should be starting around November 14th and ending around December 20th. Not sure of dates yet, but I’ll put them up when I find them.

Good news for German fans — the band will be doing a few dates in Germany supporting Stone Sour at the end of October. I added the dates up on the tour page. I’m not sure if I got the venues correct, because the official German Flyleaf site and the ticket site differed slightly. Any people familiar with German venues, feel free to shoot me an email if I messed something up.

The discography was updated with a new EP. Flyleaf covered U2’s ‘Stay’ live for Sirius Octane, and a new studio recording has surfaced on the Target Red Room EP. It’s available at, you guessed it, Target. It’s got about 17 songs from different artists, but it’s only 6 bucks or so. So I encourage everyone to go pick it up. The cover came out great. Aside from that and tour dates, the chart history page was updated. Fully Alive has moved up to #30 on the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart.

In the media section, All Around Me from Bethel was added in the video section. There are a couple more from that show, but the encoding is being troublesome according to Caleb, so hold tight for now. They’ll be up soon, hopefully.

The gallery was updated with:

– 07 from Buzznet
– 75 from SPAC
– 18 from New England Dodge

Sooooo - 74 Comments

I got bored and decided to switch around the layout a little. The gallery layout has a new header too. It’ll probably stay like this for a while, but heck, you never know with me.

I’m not entirely sure what’s going on with Flyleaf Fans. A few people have asked through email, so I figured I should address it here. It seems to be a server issue since several other sites on the server are timing out. I’m not sure when it’ll be back up. Hopefully soon.

First bit of news — Flyleaf is releasing their debut album with Tina added to the tracklisting. It’ll also be enhanced with the Breathe Today video and the I’m So Sick video. When it becomes available, you can purchase it here at I’m not sure if that version will be available in stores or just as an import, but either way it’s pretty nice to have Tina on a CD.

The band section was updated with a couple new articles. One of them is called Texas Hard Rockers With A Taste For Literature and the other is an interview Sameer did with Sony Australia. Chart history was tweaked a little with a new albums sold count. Fully Alive has moved up another slot to #20 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

I also updated the merch link since the official store has moved. In addition to new shirts, the prices have been raised to 30-35 dollars per t-shirt plus shipping [which is kind of outrageous]. I wonder if the shirts will be that expensive at shows. Anybody been to any Family Values dates that can vouch for the price of the shirts there?

In the media section, some new icons were added thanks to Anja. A handful of videos were added as well. The rest of the Juanita’s show and an interview from Rock Circus were added.

20 shots from Coors Amphitheater were put up. Those were taken by Scott Smith. A few more from Flyleaf’s Buzznet account were also added.

New Layout weeee! - 25 Comments

Flyleaf Online has been officially made over. It took a bit of self control to keep it light, since I normally can’t help making graphics dark. Sorry in advance if you liked the other one better. I needed something new to look at. You might have to refresh or clear your cache to see it all properly. I’ll probably redo the gallery layout sometime soon, and perhaps the fanlisting one as well. We’ll see.

As far as updates, there aren’t many since I was busy with the layout. I’ll probably edit this post later on tonight with more if I can find something to add.

In the media section, I added a few new promotional tools. I also added a text area under each banner so you can just copy and paste the code on your MySpace or wherever you want. On the video page, I added four live videos from Juanita’s. Red Sam was left out because of the abounding technical difficulties with the sound in case anyone was wondering why it wasn’t there.

In the gallery, I added a bunch more photos to the Bob Carmichael album. Those pictures are pretty old, but nice. Several from last nights show in San Antonio were added here thanks to Ali. About 15 shots from the Pensacola Civic Center were put up here thanks to John at

I hope everyone enjoys the new layout. :]
