Virtue is a quality so often lost on rock musicians, don’t you think? The news-makers of rock embody excessiveness and hedonism on a scale that most of us can barely comprehend. Their sexual exploits and destructive behavior fuel a scandal-hungry public, voraciously seeking to devour the next morsel of surfeit overindulgence.
Gee, is this a setup for an exception to the rule or what?!
The answer is yes, and the exception is Lacey Mosley. Puritanical? No. Rock Goddess? Well, she’s getting there, even if she is reluctant to do so. As the front-woman for Flyleaf, a hard-rocking quartet personifying pseudo-Christian thematicism, she has come to define the rock front-person (politically correct much?) as more of a messenger of hope than a transmitter of introspective woe.
This became perfectly clear during an phone interview with Lacey who, with Flyleaf, is set to make a big second impression with their sophomore effort, Momento Mori. -

ooh i might actually be able to tune in if Rockline airs somewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area. is the station in California? just curious because the day before their scheduled interview is the day of their SF concert, or would they be flying out of here that soon? :\

That’s really cool!
I noticed that the music video to ‘Beautiful Bride’ is in green screen again…hopefully it’s better than ‘Again’ because in my opinion, I do NOT like music videos that are entirely based on Green Screen. But hopefully it looks great!

i guess green screening can make it seem unrealistic or like one of those lame commercials with all the kids lip syncing to Kidz Bop in front of a green screen and you’re watching it going “yeah right, you’re not really in outer space ~.~” but Again had Pat’s artwork in it :D it was one of a kind! artistic, colorful, customized, powerful, etc. and it wasn’t entirely green screened…James, Sameer, Lacey, Jared, and Pat were all very real. i won’t try to sway your opinion further ssry :x

The “Beautiful Bride” music video doesn’t look fake at all. It uses a lot more of Pat’s artwork than the “Again” video does. You won’t be disappointed because I definitely wasn’t! :)
