All of the listening party and MM tour dates that have been announced are available here. Lacey and Jared/Sameer will be at these events, and I believe it’s first come first serve. So get there early! They’re also free, so you have no excuse if you don’t show up. :P
Also, I know some of you have heard already, but the release date for Memento Mori has been pushed back to November 10, 2009. I’m sure there’s a good reason for it, so hopefully we’ll find out more details soon. :)

Actually , The Listening Party In Tuscon, Arizona you have to Pay to get into the fall ball thing , and then Flyleaf’s listening party is free with that , after you pay the $20 pre-paid, or the $30 the night before or the $40 the day of it =P Just letting you know, cause I reported a problem with that so they explained all that to me, So everyone going to the one in Tuscon! MAKE SURE YOU BRING MONEY!! OR PRE-PAY!!!!!!

And I’m really sad because I have night classes now, so I can’t go to the Seattle listening party! I have to skip school as it is to make it to the concert in November.

How about just saying it’ll come out next year so that we won’t have to keep giving our hopes up! URGH!
That sounds harsh and mean but I know (from the YouTube forum) that we’re not pleased about it. I’ll be patient but my patience is running thin. lol

If OUR patience is running thin ….can you imagine how the band feels about it?? They have to be roarin’ to go & all the business stuff getting in the way gotta be killing them. We are talking about a band that has given everything for how many years on the road…i can’t imagine that is all they know how to do at this point…and waiting to get on with it.

My friend and I are local to Minneapolis and go to the Rock frequently; there is no date on their calendar for Flyleaf, so we called in. They say it is NOT happening there and they have no idea why people keep calling about it. I have not been able to find listings for anywhere else in MN, except their concert date for NOVEMBER 9 at Varsity Theater for the actual MM tour.

I know the band must be going through a lot too!
I’m not saying that they’re not stressed out or anything about this whole release for Memento Mori. But I blame the management, not the band for the pushed back date. If the people in production are the ones responsible for the delay then I hold nothing back when I say it’s their fault.
I hold no grudges against any of the band members! I still love those guys to death and they are the reason why I am keeping my patience STILL. But as for the people or whatever it is that’s holding the release late, I’m not thrilled.

NOOO, I even marked the release date down on my calender, checking off the days till it comes out, and now this?!?! Well, however long it takes to make it as best as it can be. I’d rather wait two weeks and it be awesome than have a not-as-good version earlier. :/

I know that one of the reasons it was originally pushed back was because the band was having trouble getting distribution in the Christian market and that was really important to them. Back at the end of July, I went to Creation West music festival and Tooth and Nail records had posters up advertising their releases for the rest of the year. Flyleaf’s name was on there so I asked the T&N people if Flyleaf had signed with them. They said that they had and that it was really recent. They were gonna be doing the Christian distribution. Its been almost two months and that hasn’t been advertised anywhere so I’m wondering if there is a problem with that? It wouldn’t surprise me at all.

No, I wasn’t saying that they weren’t with Octone anymore. Sorry for the confusion. Apparently, they had co-signed with Tooth and Nail. Octone was going to do general distribution and T&N was going to do Christian distribution. I’m not sure if that is still happening seeing as there hasn’t been any advertisement for it. But I do have a picture of the T&N poster advertising Flyleaf if you want to see it.
